This is a lovely little candle with a pleasantly light (but not too light!) scent. Does not smell particularly artificial to me at all. The quality of the jar is amazing, will definitely be keeping it long after the candle has been used up. There are also little messages that melt away in between the scent layers on the candle, which is really cool and something I have not seen before! We used this on a warmer and it works really well with that, but the little messages will probably look nicer as they appear if you are burning it. Either way, both work and you still get to see them! The packaging for this candle was also excellent, kept it very safe and the box it arrived in was very giftable, also.My only complaint is with the price. Maybe I just don't buy enough candles, but $30 for a candle that is not very big is a tall ask. Because I am not as familiar as I'd like to be about candle prices I have chosen not to knock a star for this, but I would love it if they could look into a way to lower it somehow. I am very interested in the sakura scent from this brand, but I'll probably only ever order it if the seller runs a sale due to that price.Overall, it's a lovely candle. If you have the money and want to try it, I recommend!

There are several of these by the manufacturer and I got "Bamboo Path," not knowing what the scent would be. Usually I prefer candles in which the scent is very clear, like vanilla, lavender, or citrus, but I took a chance on this one and like the scent. And the candle itself is quite beautiful.

While the price seems a little much for a candle of this size, it is remarkably beautiful and well-packaged. It would make an excellent gift or splurge purchase. I liked the aroma, and it worked well to have this candle in the most open space of our home. An inspirational message is revealed after burning for two to three hours. I haven't yet burned it again to see how it burns through this layer or if there is more to be uncovered.
